Most people only deal with vehicle registration once or twice a year, and it is never the easy part of the day. A missing signature or the wrong form means a rejected application and a second trip.

Do I need an appointment?
No. Castro’s Registration Services is walk-in only — come by during business hours and we will take care of you. There is no appointment system and no waiting list.
Are you the DMV?
No. We are a privately owned registration service, not affiliated with the California Department of Motor Vehicles. We are authorized to process registration transactions directly, which is why you get your stickers and paperwork here instead of waiting in a DMV line.
Why use a registration service instead of going to the DMV?
Time. A DMV field office visit usually means an appointment booked weeks out, or hours in line. Most transactions here take a few minutes, and you leave with your sticker, plates, or paperwork in hand the same day.
